DOT seeks input
The Georgia Department of Transportation will be set up at the Georgia Peanut Festival Saturday, Oct. 19, in Sylvester to gather input through a survey for the upcoming Statewide Transportation Plan and Statewide Strategic Transportation Plan. Visit the DOT’s booth to learn more about the SWTP/SSTP update.
The plan is a document that guides how the state invests in its transportation system. It considers highways, bridges, transit, rail, airports, ports/waterways and bicycle/pedestrian networks, according to a GDOT press release.
You can also fill out the survey online at http://www.dot.ga.gov/IS/SSTP.
