MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Colquitt County Interdenominational Christian Alliance will hold its annual Crusade for Christ Revival and musical concert at Friendship Baptist Church, where the Rev. Alfred Jones is the host pastor. The concert will be 6 p.m. Sunday, June 9, and the revival will be Monday June 10, through Wednesday June 12, at 7 p.m.
The Rev. Todd Cason will be the guest messenger.
Cason is a native of Brooks County, Ga. He is the son of the late Autley and Christine Holmes and the grandson of the late Jake and Connie B. Cason of Valdosta, Ga. At an early age, he was baptized at St. James Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. Thomas Haynes. He was an active member of the Angel Choir.
Cason is a graduate of Brooks County High School, Valdosta State University, Nova Southeastern University, and Argosy University. He has been an educator for the past 26 years, and he has held numerous positions in his career as an educator and administrator. He is also a member of numerous educational organizations. He is superintendent of Valdosta City Schools.
Cason was called into the ministry on Feb. 12, 2006, under the pastorate of the Rev. Elsie Napier. In 2009, Cason and his family became members of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Moultrie under the leadership of the Rev. Alfred Jones.
Cason was ordained in 2012 and is the pastor of Centennial Missionary Baptist Church in Thomas County, Ga.
He is married to Lana, and they are the proud parents of three children, Amber, Chelsea And William.
