In honor of FFA Week, the Colquitt County FFA Chapter visited the State Capitol for ‘FFA Day at the Capitol.’
Gov. Nathan Deal, Secretary of State Brian Kemp, and Commissioner of Agriculture Gary Black were some of the former FFA members who spoke at a breakfast for current members. Students then went onto the floor of the House of Representatives with Rep. Sam Watson of Moultrie.
The goal of the event was to inspire young members to continue in their leadership roles as well as inform leaders in Georgia of the importance that FFA continues to play in our state.
