The good times have been rolling for the Democrats agenda, especially since President Obama has been in the White House (sound effects, a needle scraping across a record). Oh No! The ugly

inconvenience of the real world shows up and demands an account for the science that states action is needed to stop global warming.



Recent disclosures of emails from the Climatic Research Unit at East Anglia University in England casts serious doubts on the quality of information used to call for public policy change.

The policy implications of this subject are major, and billions of dollars are on the line, especially for major energy providers. When Jim Greenwood, vice-president for governmental affairs for Valero states “[the climate change legislation] is potentially a terminal disease for us.” What does this mean? It means that a country that badly needs refinery capacity to meet our energy needs could be loosing major players and resources to our national interest to keep America moving and employed."
