MOULTRIE — The Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office is planning additional home security classes after its first two have been filled.

Colquitt County Drug Enforcement Team Commander Lt. Jerry Green said its first two classes, scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, and Tuesday, May 26, have already been filled. The classes will continue to be held, however, each Tuesday for as long as members of the community call and sign up.

“We will have the classes as long as there is an interest,” Green said.

The classes will be held at the sheriff’s office training center at 1932 Shade Murphy Road, Green said. They will begin at 6:30 p.m., and class members can also schedule time for a firearm training course at the meetings.
