Colquitt Regional Medical Center’s first baby of 2014 was a 7 lb., 3 oz. girl, Skyler Renee Majors, who was born at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 1. Her parents, Brittany Hayes and Melvin Majors along with big sister Amy Gail Majors were congratulated and presented gifts valued at $500 donated by Main Street Galleria, Beans & Strings, Heritage Embroidery, Wilson Jewelers, Cranford’s, Beef O’Brady, The Square, Three Crazy Bakers, Southwest Georgia Bank, State Farm, Applebee’s, Pizza Hut, Winn-Dixie, Flowers by Barrett, Jill Stringfellow, Georgia Boy, The Birthing Place and the Pink Pearl gift shop.
