MOULTRIE -- A Valdosta man was issued eight traffic-related charges Tuesday in connection with an accident, Moultrie police reports stated.

Ronnie L. Radney, 50, Valdosta, was charged Tuesday with having an open container, disorderly conduct, driving with a suspended or revoked license and driving under the influence (first offense). He was also charged with running a red light, failure to stop at an accident with damage, reckless driving and no proof of insurance.

An accident report stated Radney, driving a 1995 Hyundai Accent, ran a red light at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and the south part of the East Bypass, a police accident report stated.

Police reported that Radney's vehicle collided with a 1988 Nissan pickup, driven by Kenneth Gerald Henson, 65, 855 Tucker Road. Neither driver nor Radney's passenger, Sheldon Vickers, 50, address unknown, were injured, reports stated. The accident occurred around 5:46 p.m.

Police said Radney left the scene of the accident and was caught on 28th Street at Fifth Avenue Southeast.



Other arrests

Willie James Harper Jr., 20, 915 Fifth Ave. S.W., was charged Tuesday with battery (family violence). Moultrie police reports stated Angeline Sinquefield, 20, 1310 W. Central Ave., suffered a swollen left jaw and a chipped or broken tooth. Police reported the injury happened after an argument about a prank the victim had played on Harper.

Shonda Maria French, 24, 708 10th Ave. N.W., was charged Tuesday with fighting/disorderly conduct, Moultrie police reports stated.

Melissa Lynette Huddleston, 19, 504 Fourth Court N.W., was charged Tuesday with fighting/disorderly conduct, Moultrie police reports stated.

Juarez Clark, 22, 820 Apt. 4 Shy Manor, was charged Tuesday with driving with a suspended license (second offense), Moultrie police reports stated.

Rosetta Daniels, 29, 412 Third Ave. N.W., was charged Tuesday with theft by shoplifting, Moultrie police reports stated.

Police reported a Wal-Mart employee said he saw Daniels put several packs of cigarettes and a bottle of perfume in her purse and try to leave the store without paying. The items were valued at a total of $87.32, police reports stated.

Jesus Nerva, 29, 1183 Holmes Drive, was charged Tuesday with driving without a license, Moultrie police reports stated.

Silva Leticia Ariciaga, 31, 42 Circle Road, was charged Tuesday with driving with a suspended or revoked license and not stopping or returning to the scene of an accident, Colquitt County Sheriff's Office reports stated.

Sheriff's office reports said Terri Melissa Rushing, 34, 909 Third St., was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence, open container, no insurance and driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Edward Perdue, 46, Funston, was charged Monday with carrying a concealed weapon, sheriff's office reports stated.

Ruben Antonio Ruiz, 22, 33 20th St. S.E., was charged Tuesday with not using a seat belt, giving false information to an officer and driving without a license, sheriff's office reports stated.

Joseph Anthony Sims, 41, 1582 O'Neal Road, was charged Tuesday for owing child support, sheriff's office reports stated.

Michael Jermaine Stamper, 18, Doerun, was charged Monday with violation of probation, sheriff's office reports stated.



Incidents

Roy Lovett, 33, 211 Second St. S.W., reported that someone burglarized his house between 5 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday. Lovett told police he left the back door unlocked because the front door was giving him trouble. Police said entry was made through the back door, police reports stated. Lovett told police the person took a television of unknown value and a microwave valued at $190.

Wilma Hadley, 43, 720 Eighth Ave. S.E., reported Tuesday that someone had damaged the front right side quarter panel of her 1990 Nissan Pulsar car and left the scene. Hadley told police the car was parked on the square in Moultrie near the Colquitt County Courthouse around 5 p.m. Monday. Police reports stated it appeared a truck or larger automobil

Jennifer Hall, 731 Lot 1 Sumner Road, reported Tuesday that someone broke into a 1984 Cutlass Supreme belonging to Tony Bailey, same address. Sheriff's office reports stated the person took four speakers and that the victim said the car was locked. The value of the speakers was not listed. Deputies reported there were no signs of forced entry.

Dontorrius Jackson, 731-A Sumner Road, reported Tuesday that someone took his go-kart, valued at about $400. Deputies reported the go-kart was not secured on the property.

Adrian Parrish, 1822 Kendallwood Church Road, reported that someone entered his 1991 Toyota Corolla. Sheriff's office reports stated the person broke the left front door window and took three speakers valued at a total of $300. The person also took an amplifier valued at $200, deputies reported. The car was parked at 731-G Sumner Road.
