MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Colquitt County Grand Jury handed down indictments in multiple drug cases last week, and the district attorney’s office produced several accusations in drug cases at the same time.

Indictments

The grand jury’s true bills included:

• William Knighton Jr., violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, crossing guard lines with drugs, drugs not in original container and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

• Kenneth McKinley Harrison, possession of hydrocodone, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects. In the same case, Chandra Lee Williamson was indicted on possession of drug related objects, giving false information to a law enforcement officer and possession of methamphetamine.

• Marvin Clifton Blair, trafficking methamphetamine or amphetamine, possession of cocaine, possession of ecstasy with intent to distribute and two counts of possession of drug related objects.

• William Matthew Little, use of license plate to conceal identity, taillight violation, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer (two counts), improper passing, failure to maintain lane, driving on wrong side of roadway, reckless driving, speeding, tampering with evidence, possession of methamphetamine, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of drug related objects, driving without a license and operating a vehicle without insurance.

• Robert Lee Thomas, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug related objects and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. In the same case, Scott Marion Thomas was indicted on possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects.

• Randall C. Hudson, possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of drug related objects and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Jenny Sammons, possession of methamphetamine.

• Mary Lee Starnes, possession of methamphetamine.

• Michael Jay Gray and Ashley Salter, three counts possession of methamphetamine.

• Deangelo Williams, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of contraband by an inmate.

Accusations

Accusations were also filed by the district attorney’s office in the following drug cases:

• Taurus Djong Edwards, also known as Taurus Djone Edwards, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of drug related objects and recidivist.

• Michael Dewayne Holt, possession of methamphetamine.

• Shawn Demetrius Spivey, failure to wear seat safety belt and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

• Mary Lee Starnes, violation of Georgia Controlled Substances Act.

• Kimberly Joan Carroll, possession of methamphetamine and giving false information to a law enforcement officer.

• James Derek Nolin, possession of methamphetamine (two counts), possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and failure to maintain lane (two counts).
