0416 Eagle bridge2 (2).jpg

Life Scout Chad Hyer and Troop 418 of Valdosta built a bridge crossing on the Colquitt County side of Reed Bingham State Park. This bridge, completed as Hyer’s Eagle Scout project, will allow park visitors to quickly walk over to the picnic tables in the area without having to travel to the crossing further up the road. The Scouts thanked Home Depot and Lowe’s of Valdosta for their donations of materials and Citizen’s Community Bank of Valdosta for their donation of food.
