MOULTRIE — Johnny L. Ford will be the guest speaker at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church Sunday, Feb. 19, at 3 p.m. as the church’s youth department celebrates Black History Month. The church is located at 421 Sixth Ave. N.W. and the Rev. Alfred Jones is pastor.

Ford is a graduate of Colquitt County High School and continued his education at Clark University in Atlanta. He received a master’s degree from Grambling University in Louisiana. He is currently employed at Booker T. Washington High School in Fulton County, where he has earned an administrative degree.

Ford is the son of Joe Van Taylor and the late Mattie Taylor. He is married to the former Dejuana Coleman and he has one sister, Vanessa.
