Two people were treated Wednesday at Colquitt Regional Medical Center after separate automobile accidents in Moultrie.
In a crash at 1 p.m., Diana Johnson, of Jacqueline Circle in Moultrie, reported neck and shoulder pain after the driver of a 1993 Ford struck the rear of a 2000 Chrysler she was driving, Moultrie Police Department reports said.
Johnson was stopped on First Avenue Southeast at the intersection of Rowland Drive when the accident occurred.
Dorothy McDonald, 5001 Cat Creek Road, Valdosta, who was driving the Ford, was cited for following too closely, police reports said.
Johnson was treated at CRMC and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The second accident occurred at 7:34 p.m. at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Fifth Avenue Southeast.
Zachary Connell, of Georgia Highway 93, Sale City, told the officer that he was going through a green light at the intersection when the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was struck from the side.
Shanquale Debruce, of Old Adel Road in Moultrie, who was driving a 2007 Toyota Highlander, tried to stop prior to the crash, Connell reported. The impact caused the Silverado to go over the median in the south-bound turning lane and that the spinning Toyota struck his vehicle a second time.
Debruce was treated and released, the hospital spokeswoman said.
