MOULTRIE, Ga. — A man was shot at after he discovered someone in a work bus in the middle of the night.
Eliseo Rodriques, 3200 block Sylvester Drive, told Colquitt County deputies he heard the alarm on a vehicle outside his residence about 11:13 p.m. Tuesday, so he went to check it out. When he exited the house, he startled a man who was in a work bus.
The man quickly got off the bus, crouched down in front of it and started shooting at Rodriques’ house, he said.
Rodriques went back inside and shut the door.
When officers arrived, he told them he thought the man was still on the bus. They went through it and made sure he wasn’t, after which they found a .22-caliber shell casing in front of the vehicle.
