MOULTRIE, Ga. — On Sept. 10, Anthony Giddens was arrested on multiple drug charges. Thursday, during a secondary search of Giddens’ vehicle, the drug investigation team found $10,073 in cash inside.
A black bag of clothing was found inside the trunk of the vehicle and a substantial amount of money was located in the right front pocket of a pair of jean shorts, investigators said. The rest of the money was found in another pair of shorts.
According to Investigator Ivon Folsom, along with the money, small red baggies and digital scales were found in the bag that are consistent with illegal narcotics.
The charges on Giddens have remained the same.
