MOULTRIE — Jennifer McLendon has been named executive director of Legacy Village at Park Regency, a premiere senior living community that offers assisted living-type services and Alzheimer’s care services in Moultrie.
“Jennifer’s impressive background in nursing and business management, coupled with her compassionate, caring personality, makes her the perfect choice to lead Legacy Village at Park Regency as we expand our services to seniors in the Colquitt County region,” said Bryan Cook, senior vice president of Legacy Senior Services, owner and operator of Legacy Village at Park Regency.
Prior to her appointment, McLendon served as the director of business development for a senior living community in Thomasville. Before that, she was recruiting and training manager for several years at a life insurance agency in Warner Robins.
A member of the Kiwanis Club, Women’s Forum and Focus Forum, McLendon is the recipient of numerous awards through her memberships, including “Best Clinician” and “Outstanding Community Service.”
“I am so thrilled to become a part of the family at Legacy Village at Park Regency. To me, the opportunity to serve the ‘Greatest Generation of Americans’ is a true ministry of love and compassion, a spirit that I know runs deep here in Moultrie,” McLendon said.
McLendon’s appointment is part of an overall effort by the parent company to enhance services and surroundings at Legacy Village at Park Regency.
Earlier this month, Legacy Senior Services announced it is conducting a significant renovation of the Moultrie facility. This includes the addition of The Harbor, a nationally recognized memory care concept, which aids in the life enrichment and delivery of care to people suffering from Alzheimer’s and other memory loss disorders. In addition, all common areas throughout Legacy Village at Park Regency are receiving a complete facelift.
“There’s already a true warmth at Legacy Village at Park Regency that just lifts you. Now, with a complete renovation of our facilities, we are able to provide an even higher level of care and comfort for those staying with us. I am so excited about these improvements and am truly blessed to be a part of it,” McLendon said.
McLendon is a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia with an extensive background in business management. She holds an advanced nursing degree from Middle Georgia Technical College and a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State College University.
