A Lenox man remains in fair condition following a Thursday accident on Eldton Clark Road, one of two wrecks late last week for which reports were released Monday.
Dusty Sirmans, 34, was driving a 1999 Ford pickup west on Elton Clark Road about 3:45 p.m. Thursday when he ran off the right side of the road and overturned, the Georgia State Patrol said Monday. He was driving too fast for conditions, which included significant rains associated with Tropical Storm Andrea, and he has been charged with that offense.
A Colquitt Regional Medical Center spokeswoman said Sirmans -- who was wearing his seat belt -- was in fair condition Monday.
In the other accident, reported Friday, Amy Renee Watson, 2017 Second St. S.E., was treated at Colquitt Regional Medical Center and released.
Moultrie police said Alfred Edgar Bryan, of Meigs, driving a 2010 Hyundai Genesis, stopped at the stop sign on Second Avenue Southwest at First Street. Bryan said he saw no vehicles so he pulled from the stop sign and struck the side of Watson's 2011 Ford Fiesta.
Neither Bryan nor a passenger in his car were injured.
Bryan was charged with failure to yield after stop/stop sign.
