THOMASVILLE, Ga. — A Moultrie man who confessed to embezzling $50,000 from his former Thomasville employer was arrested Wednesday in Moultrie.
Isaac Andrades was booked into the Thomas County Jail and released on a $10,000 bond.
Andrades was arrested at his residence by the Colquitt County Sheriff's Office and transported to Thomasville.
The Thomas County Sheriff's Office had been looking for the suspect since late October, when the embezzlement was reported, said Capt. Tim Watkins, sheriff's office chief investigator.
Andrades was employed by a Thomasville insurance company, Watkins said.
"He figured out how he could scam the system," the investigator said.
Watkins said the suspect admitted the embezzlement Wednesday during questioning.
