BRICK, N.J. — Two Moultrians were among four people arrested in a drug raid that also netted more than 52 bricks of heroin, two pounds of marijuana and numerous guns and rounds of ammunition.
Brick Shorebeat reported on its website, brick.shorebeat.com, that Jasmine Mosher, 22, and Antonio Spradley, 23, both of Moultrie, were arrested, along with Anthony Simpson, 39, and Ashley Askew, 25, both of Lakewood, N.J.
New Jersey State Police raided a home in Lakewood and a motel room in Brick as the culmination of a three-month investigation, the website reported.
All the suspects were charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute cocaine, heroin, and marijuana, possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon without a permit, possession of narcotic paraphernalia, possession of hollow point bullets, possession of a large capacity magazine, and possession of stolen movable property.
Police seized several handguns, an AK-47 rifle,20 ounces of cocaine, 52 bricks of heroin, two pounds of marijuana and about $13,000 in currency.
