A Moultrie man has been charged in the robbery of a pizza delivery driver and a separate incident in which a man reported he pointed a gun at him.
Kendrick Tywon Clark, 18, 1221 Apt. S Elliott Brown St., was charged with pointing a gun at another, aggravated assault and armed robbery in the two incidents. He was arrested Friday.
Moultrie Police Department and Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office officers surrounded a First Avenue Northwest residence on Wednesday after a pizza delivery driver reported being robbed and it was thought the robber was inside.
The driver was robbed of $20. He identified Clark in a photo lineup, Moultrie police said.
In the other incident, Jonquarius Haynes, of Moultrie, reported that Clark was in the back seat of a Nissan Altima that approached him on July 2 in the 400 block of Ninth Street Northwest. He reported that Clark opened the door and pointed a gun at him.
Haynes told police that he recently has had problems with Clark that resulted in fights.
Additional charges are pending against Clark, and a second suspect is being sought in connection with the robbery.
