MOULTRIE -- A $40,000 Ryder truck has not been returned to Moultrie Auto Sales, Moultrie police reports said.

Kim Baxter, manager of the business, said Thursday that the truck was rented to a Moultrie woman on Dec. 7 and was to be returned by 1 p.m. Monday, reports said. The truck's identification number is 362514 and the tag number is 1ZD695, reports said.

Other incidents

Chanaan Davis, of Railroad Street, Berlin, reported that two sets of tools, one of which was Craftsman, and a DeWalt brand cordless drill were stolen from his property between Tuesday and Thursday, Colquitt County sheriff's reports said.

John Howard, of Second Street Southwest, reported Thursday that someone broke into his home and stole a VCR, police reports said.

Peggy Sprayberry, an employee at Bonus Stores on North Main Street, reported Thursday that someone ran over a chain-link fence at the business, police reports said.


Christopher Zeigler, 29, of Moultrie, was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct-family violence and driving on a suspended license.

Allan Fequiere, 23, 1505 W. Tharpe St., was charged Thursday with carrying a concealed weapon, driving on a suspended license and speeding.

Connie Slater, 23, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, was charged Thursday with violating probation.

Phillip Butler, 32, 1315 Bryan Road, Hartsfield, was charged Thursday with criminal trespass.

Earl Robinson, 25, 309 Jones St., Doerun, was charged Thursday with violating probation.

Daniel Duran, 26, 126 Willow Drive, was charged Friday with battery-family violence.
