NORMAN PARK -- Mary Evelyn Sutton, 83, of Norman Park, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2005, at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Brian Hud Williams

MOULTRIE -- Brian Hud Williams, 28, of Moultrie, died Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 24, 2005, at his residence.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, at Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Hugh Ward officiating.

Mr. Williams was born March 29, 1977, in Baldwin County, Ga. He is the son of Laura B. Williams of Moultrie and the late O. Wayde Williams of Eatonton. Grandparents are Elaine C. Bricker and the late John O. Bricker of Moultrie and the late Carl Vinson and the late Mary Emma Williams of Gibson, Ga.

Survivors are his mother; his brother, Jay Williams and wife Alison of Moultrie; and his grandmother.

In high school, Mr. Williams lettered in tennis, was official video photographer for the football team under Coach Jim Hughes and was a volunteer certified referee for the local YMCA youth soccer program.

Mr. Williams graduated from Colquitt County High School in 1995 and attended Valdosta State University. He worked in the trim shop at Destiny and in construction before enrolling in the radiology program at Moultrie Technical College.

Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Jimmie B. Davis

DUBLIN -- Jimmie B. Davis, 79, of the Dublin VA Center, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home with burial at Westview Cemetery. The Rev. Paul Voyles will officiate. Casketbearers will be James and Shane Graves, Jason and Justin Parten, Eric Tucker and Bill Johnson.

Mr. Davis was born July 7, 1926, in Toombs County, Ga., to the late Ethel N. Bacon Davis and the late Tom Davis. He was a Baptist and retired from Merita Bread Co. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Althea Graves Davis; and a grandson, Britt Duel Davis.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy T. Davis and wife Sharon of Palm Coast, Fla., and J. Duel Davis and wife Ann of Vidalia; one daughter, Tonya Moxley and husband Wyman of Vidalia; two sisters, Wyona Gillis and Walthene Stewart, both of Vidalia; six grandchildren, Jennifer Brown, Amber Ramga, Kimberly Langston, Cheyenne Dorsey, Stephanie Register and B.J. Register; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

MOULTRIE -- Cecil Wayne Owens, 49, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2005, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Aldwin Spada DeMott

KENNESAW -- Aldwin Spada Demott, 55, of Kennesaw, Ga., died Wednesday Nov. 23, 2005.

The youngest of nine children, he was predeceased by his parents, F. C. DeMott and Ruby Strickland DeMott; brothers, Curtis Demott, Ervin DeMott and Lamar DeMott; and son Joshua Aldwin DeMott.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Alley DeMott; daughters, Mandy Ali DeMott and Molly Kay DeMott; and siblings Bunita Simpson, Rosalyn Cain, Glenda DuPree, Larry DeMott and Rodney DeMott.

The memorial service will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Hartsfield at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26.

Cremation Society of the South is in charge of arrangements.
