Marjorie Louise Blair Stanford

MOULTRIE -- Marjorie Louise Blair Stanford, 69, of Moultrie died Thursday, May 2, 2002, at her residence.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lennon Howell officiating. Burial will be in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Joey Sloan, Joe Stanford, Danny White, Mike Baggs, Lee Rogers and Randall Norman.

Born March 30, 1933, in Waverly, Ala., Mrs. Stanford was the daughter of the late Alma Mann Blair and Otis Blair. She was a waitress at The Sportsman Restaurant for 26 years and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Jean Savage.

Survivors include her husband, J.R. Stanford Sr. of Moultrie; sons, Jack Dennis Cronic of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Donald Horace Savage of Moultrie; daughters, Terry Ann Paulk and Brenda Faye Bryant, both of Moultrie, Debra Elaine Norman of Lawrenceburg, Tenn. and Vickie Lynn Campbell of Norman Park; a sister, Evelyn Prather of Mableton; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

Cobb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Abram H. Stewart

SPARKS -- Abram H. Stewart, 81, of Sparks died Thursday, May 2, 2002, at Palmyra Medical Center in Albany.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 6, at First Assembly of God. Burial will be in Buck Creek Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Billy Butler

MOULTRIE -- Billy Butler, 57, formerly of Moultrie died Friday, May 3, 2002, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Arrangements will be announced by Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Elizabeth Sumner

NORMAN PARK -- Elizabeth Sumner, 73, of Norman Park, died Thursday, May 2, 2002.

Arrangements will be announced by Baker Funeral Home.
