Arnold Croft

BERLIN -- Arnold Croft, 69, of Berlin died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002, in Bibb County.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dewey Stelvey and James Sellers officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Mark Croft, David Croft, David Peek, Roy Williams, Gene Alderman and Harold Hiers.

Born Oct. 8, 1932, in Colquitt County, Mr. Croft was the son of the late Upson and Levy Croft. He was retired from civil service and was a veteran. He was a member of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church.

He was married to the late Willie Elizabeth Cook Croft, and was preceded in death by brothers, Ross Croft, Felder Croft and Hardy Croft, and sisters, Agnes Berkowitz and Edna Mercer.

Survivors include a son, Randy Clenney and wife Rose of Albany; daughters, Karen Elizabeth Croft Cone and husband John H. Cone Jr. of Tallahassee, Fla. and Carrie Jeanette Gray and husband Larry of Albany; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Wesley Chapel Methodist Church.

Willie Elizabeth Cook Croft

BERLIN -- Willie Elizabeth Cook Croft, 76, of Berlin died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, in Bibb County.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dewey Stelvey and James Sellers officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Norris Croft, John (R.C.) Daniels, Larry Thebeault, Bob Thebeault, Tracy McDonald and Rob Frock.

Born July 19, 1926in Miller County, Mrs. Croft is the daughter of the late James (Sonny) Cook and Verna Clyde Palmer Cook. She was a homemaker and was a member of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church.

She was married to the late Arnold Croft.
