MOULTRIE -- Mr. Danny Blackwell, 44, of Moultrie died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2002, at his residence.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, at Morning Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester Burks officiating. Burial will be in Morning Grove Cemetery in Norman Park. Pallbearers will be Karron Blackwell, Clifford Mitchell, Michael Blackwell, Stacey Blackwell, Clayton Sims III and Johnnie Mitchell.
Born March 25, 1958, in Moultrie, Mr. Blackwell was the son of the late Buster Blackwell and Pearlie Mae Blackwell. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Minnie Pearl Dixon.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Blackwell of Moultrie; brothers, Willie Blackwell (Elnora), Bobby Lee Blackwell (Willie Mae), Roy Blackwell, Robert Lee Blackwell (Sandra), Darrien Blackwell (Makeshia), Johnny Blackwell (Gloria) and Abe Blackwell, all of Moultrie; sisters, Annie Pearl Mitchell (Clifford), Carrie Sims (Elder Clayton), Joan Hopkins and Mary Lois Martin (Joseph), all of Moultrie; aunts, Nellie Mae Williams of Baltimore, Md. and Lucille Powell (Benny) of Norman Park; an uncle, McKinley Williams of Coolidge; a brother-in-law, Willie James Dixon of Moultrie; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

ALBANY -- Elbert Tillman, 83, of Albany and Destin, Fla., died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2002, in Destin.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, at China Grove Baptist Church in Moultrie, where he was a member. The Revs. Ricky Griner of Moultrie and Steve Davies of Destin will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Born Feb. 17, 1919, in Colquitt County, Mr. Tillman was the son of the late Josh and Hattie Tillman. He lived in Albany from 1952 until 1997, and was the owner of Tillman Builders in Albany until his retirement. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving with Seabees that were attached to the Marines on Guadalcanal in the South Pacific.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Lee Frances Tillman, and a grandson, Conrad McGuire.
Survivors include his five daughters and their husbands, Sylvia and Bill Vickers of Destin, Sonya and Larry Gooden of Albany, Sherry and Earl Ward of Albany, Carl and Robert Rachals of Destin, and Jana and Rad McGuire of Mobile, Ala.; four granddaughters, Cara Rachals, Micah McGuire, Joanna Prater and Jamye and husband John Wars.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
Hall and Hall Funeral Home, 324 S. Mock Road, Albany is in charge of arrangements.

MOULTRIE -- Cora Tillman Norman, 87, of Roberts Road, Moultrie, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2002, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Cobb Funeral Chapel.
