James A. Williams
FAYETTEVILLE -- Mr. James A. Williams of Fayetteville died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home. Burial will be at 4 p.m. in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Tifton.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia P. Williams; a daughter, Karen Bauer; a son, Greg Williams; brothers, Floyd Williams and Joseph Williams; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
Parrott Funeral Home of Fairburn is in charge of arrangements.
Wanza P. Scruggs
MOULTRIE -- Mrs. Wanza P. Scruggs, 54, of 707-A Third Ave. S.E., died Friday, Oct. 25, 2002, at Archobold Medical Center.
Arrangements will be announced by Luke Strong and Son Mortuary.
Martha Anna Tucker Sanders
COVINGTON, La. -- Martha Anna Tucker Sanders, 88, of Covington, La. died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002, at Forest Manor Nursing Home in Covington.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at First United Methodist Church's Taylor Chapel. The Rev. Ronnie Wills will officiate. Burial will be in Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Born June 16, 1914, in Newton, Mrs. Sanders was the daughter of the late Richard C. and Laura Tucker. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl R. Sanders Sr., and a son, Carl R. Sanders Jr.
Survivors include a daughter, Laura Morris of Covington; a daughter-in-law, Geraldine Sanders; two nieces, Janet Stuart and Laura Barbosa; a nephew, Jimmy Swan; six grandchildren, Jonna Greenwood, Tery Owens, John David Owens Jr., Carolyn Hall, Carl R. Sanders III and Robbie B. Sanders; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.

George Otis Knight
MOULTRIE -- George Otis Knight, 63, of Moultrie died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Morris Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Mac Crider, Randy Knight, Jabo Knight, Junior Trull, Ladon Tomlinson and Donnie Trull.
Born May 3, 1939, in Colquitt County, Mr. Knight was the son of the late Frank Comer Knight and Etta Duncan Knight. He was a carpenter and electrician with Knight's Electric and was a member of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Arnett Knight; a daughter, Nancy Knight; brothers, Ed Knight and Billy Gene Knight; and a sister, Mutt Griffin.
Survivors include sons, Lamar Otis Knight and Ricky Frank Knight both of Moultrie; a daughter, Vivian Knight; brothers, C.J. Knight, Howard Knight and Frankie Knight all of Moultrie, and John Henry Knight of Lakeland, Fla.; sisters, Sarah Trull and Lucille Crider both of Moultrie; and a granddaughter, Stormy Lee Knight.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. tonight at the funeral chapel.

Shirley Marie Perkins Spomer
CHARLOTTE, Tenn. -- Shirley Marie Perkins Spomer, 61, of Charlotte, Tenn., formerly of Moultrie, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2002.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Billy Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Danny Ray Perkins, Greg Phelps, Kenneth Suggs, Ricky Lee Perkins, Richard Allegood and Herbert Edwards.
Born Dec. 19, 1940, in Colquitt County, Mrs. Spomer was the daughter of the late Lucy Edward Perkins and Frank Perkins. She was a bookkeeper with Sud-Chemie Mineral Co. and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Spomer.
Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia Jan Wert and husband Larry of Charlotte, Tenn. and Peggy Ann Hunter and husband Daniel of Moultrie; a brother, O.L. "Pete" Perkins of Moultrie; a sister, Jeannette Perkins of Wheatland, Calif.; and five grandchildren, Daniel Hunter, Becky Hun

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.

MOULTRIE -- Gregory Benard Bright, 32, of Moultrie died in Fairfax, Va.
