MOULTRIE -- Sheriff's deputies arrested three juvenile males Wednesday in connection with two armed burglaries at a trailer park on Circle Road in Moultrie this week.

Neighbors called Colquitt County Sheriff's Office about 2 p.m. Wednesday while four people were at a trailer at 574 Circle Road, allegedly with guns.

Three of the four suspects ran as deputies arrived, Colquitt County Sheriff's Office Investigator Wendy Lain said.

One suspect has yet to be apprehended -- a white male with blonde hair wearing blue pants and only known as Chance. The suspect, last seen on West Boulevard, lost his hat and shoes as he fled law enforcement. He also took off his white shirt as he ran. All those items were recovered.

The Georgia Department of Corrections brought out dogs to search for the fugitive suspects, and Moultrie police officers also joined the search. Much of the afternoon was spent combing the neighborhoods and woods in the area, but the dogs lost the scent trail, Lain said.

By mid-afternoon, two suspects were under arrest, investigators said. One did not attempt to flee. The second was apprehended on foot just after the chase began.

The third offender, a 13-year-old male, was arrested Wednesday evening in the lobby of the sheriff's office as he and his family were visiting the other two juveniles under arrest, Lain said.

One of the offenders and another suspect had allegedly burglarized another home in the trailer park Tuesday, taking a television and a video cassette recorder, but were confronted by witnesses, she said. They reportedly decided to seek revenge by burglarizing the home of the witnesses Wednesday, she said, armed with a black BB pistol and a broken pellet gun. The youngest offender allegedly held the pellet gun. They reportedly stole $22.

The three juveniles in custody are charged with armed robbery and have been transported to the regional youth detention center, she said.

The four suspects were also reportedly asked to join in the early Tuesday morning armed robbery of two men within a mile from the trailer park, but the four declined, saying that their girlfriends did not want them to be involved, Lain said.

In that incident two men were beaten and robbed when a group of a half-dozen people came to their Circle Road residence while the men were sleeping.

The robbers made off with $23 and electronic equipment, investigators said.

In connection with the three incidents, CCSO has recovered two televisions, a video cassette recorder, a portable radio, a personal compact disc player, a jewelry box, a stereo system and a black and gray tote bag, they said.
