MOULTRIE, Ga. — Local organizers are preparing for a praise and worship service on the Courthouse Square Oct. 12, and they’re seeking support from the community.

Anita Williams said the event is intended to let Christians show a united front despite differences in denominations, races or doctrines. She said organizers hope the service will become an annual event.

“We will be having live performances from some of our local churches and are looking to have more people involved with the performances,” Williams said. “We are in need of praise dancers, singers, speakers, prayer warriors and intercessors. You don't have to be in a choir or even have an angelic voice. This service is dedicated to Our Heavenly Father and anyone who wishes to participate is welcome to join us. This is your opportunity to sing your song or speak your word or even play your instrument. So many people have a testimony but never get the opportunity to speak on it; this is your chance.”

The event will include free hot dogs, chips and drinks.

Anyone who’d like to perform or anyone who wishes to donate food or supplies can call or text Williams at (229) 529-4002 or Eric at (229) 454-5526.
