Despite a chance of rain in the forecast, the Downtown Bazaar is still scheduled to be held Saturday morning.
City of Moultrie Main Street Director Amy Johnson said the bazaar will go on as planned starting at 7 a.m. Saturday on the courthouse square. The only reason for calling off the bazaar is if there is heavy rain or thunderstorms while merchants are setting up. The forecast for Saturday, according to NOAA, was for a 30 percent chance of rain Saturday.
In case the bazaar, is called off, Johnson said it will be moved to the rain date of Saturday, March 12. The forecast, however, is for the rain to be heavier after the bazaar has at 2 p.m.
