MOULTRIE, Ga. — Georgia School Superintendent Richard Woods, standing, reads “The Day the Crayons Quit” to more than 100 people at the start of the Moultrie-Colquitt County Public Library’s summer reading program Friday.

Woods was touring the state with representatives of the state’s library service, bringing books that the library will give away.

After he read the book, the children were entertained by ventriloquist Marc Griffiths.
