MOULTRIE — Three people were taken to Colquitt Regional Medical Center following a four-vehicle accident Monday afternoon. None of the injuries were serious, however.

Vanessa Richardson, 17, and Daphne Richardson, 16, both of Pelham, and Tracey Anderson, 47, of Moultrie were treated for their injuries and released Monday, a hospital spokesman said.

Police said a Chevrolet Blazer, driven by Reba May, 27, of Moultrie, was driving on Fifth Avenue Southeast. At 5:25 p.m. Monday, a Toyota Corolla, driven by Ricardo Bodiford, 20, of Moultrie, pulled in front of the Blazer at the 12th Street Southeast intersection and onto Fifth Avenue Southeast.

The Blazer rear-ended the Corolla, causing it to rear-end a Dodge Neon, driven by Vanessa Richardson, that was in front of it on Fifth Avenue Southeast. The Neon then rear-ended the vehicle in front of it a Ford Expedition, driven by Anderson.

Bodiford told police he saw the Blazer coming at him driving quickly when he pulled onto Fifth Avenue Southeast. All four vehicles involved had slight to moderate damage, but none of the drivers were cited or charged in the accident.
