MOULTRIE — A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of three Moultrie men after Drug Enforcement Team (DET) agents allegedly found drugs inside the vehicle Friday evening.

Anthony Bernard Brown, 22, of 624 Second St. N.W.; Christopher Rashaun McBride, 24, of 316 Third St. S.W.; and Raheem J. McBride, 26, of 732 Joe Lewis Ave., were arrested during the traffic stop. All three were charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute and possession of ecstasy with the intent to distribute.

The DET report said agents conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Tree Farm Road and Paul Murphy Road about 6:30 p.m. Friday. When agents approached the vehicle, the report said, all three men inside were drinking beers.

As agents removed each man from the vehicle, reports said, they found drugs inside in plain view. They found approximately three pounds of marijuana, an unknown quantity of ecstasy and about half an ounce of powder and crack cocaine.

The total street value of the drugs found inside the vehicle was between approximately $1,920 and $2,120, the DET estimated.

Reports said all three men were then placed under arrest and taken to Colquitt County Jail.
