Three people reported being reported at gunpoint Sunday during an early morning home invasion at a Northeast Moultrie residence, Moultrie Police Department reports said.

Guadalupe Perez of Live Oak, Fla., reported the robbery at the residence in the 1500 block of Hutchinson Drive.

He reported that two armed men entered the residence at about 1:30 a.m. while they were sleeping.

The men demanded money and went through their wallets.

Other victims included Apolinar Romulo and Arturo Romulo, police reports said.

In an unrelated incident, Loren Davis of Moultrie reported Monday that he was approached by a man who asked for 50 cents at 9:20 p.m. in the 800 block of First Avenue Southeast.

Davis told the officer that he grabbed a jar out of a cup holder to get 50 cents and the man told him he might as well give him the entire jar of money. He handed over the jar in order to get the situation over with.

The jar contained $3 to $3.50 in change, he reported. He described the man as a black male in his 50s wearing a blue jacket, sweat pants and possibly gray beard.


Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office

• Terrance Jannon Long, 28, 1220 Gene McQueen Road, was charged Monday with aggressive driving and two counts of obstruction of an officer.

Leah Long reported that Long, driving a white Jeep Wrangler, followed her from Moultrie at about 7:38 p.m. on Georgia Highway 37. She told the officer that at times he pulled alongside her in an attempt to force her off the roadway.

At Clarence Norman road, she reported, Terrance Long drove into the ditch trying to get beside her vehicle and she told him she had called the sheriff’s office.

Officers went to a residence in the 900 block of D.H. Alderman Road where there were Terrance Long was living.

Terrance Long told the officers he did follow Leah Long in an attempt to talk to her, sheriff’s reports said. When told he was under arrest, he ran out the back door and was caught following a brief foot chase.

• Heather Nichole Bell, 26, 273 Black Acres Road, was charged Monday with failure to appear and probation violation.

Norman Park Police Department

• Christopher Josue Doyle, 18, 922 S. Fain St., Moultrie was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, driving without a license and failure to drive within a single lane.


Moultrie Police Department

• Johnny Earl Crawford, Moultrie, reported Wednesday that copper wire was stripped from a rental property in the 600 block of Fifth Street Southeast.

The estimated value of the loss was $2,200.

• Brenda Calahan, Moultrie, reported Monday the theft of medication and identification from a 2004 Chrysler Sebring parked in the 600 block of Veterans Parkway South.

Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office

• Charles Smith, 5800 block U.S. Highway 319 North, Norman Park, reported Monday the theft of a baby goat, 400 feet of miscellaneous wire, gas heater, two windows with frame, folding glass door kit, wrenches and three or four tires.

The estimated value of the stolen property was $1,524.

• Joel Rodriguez, 100 block Ewer Road, reported Monday the theft of a Samsung laptop computer valued at $475.

• Elena Soria, 100 block Cedar Street, reported Monday that a package she mailed to an acquaintance in Gainesville, Fla., was intercepted by someone other than the intended recipient.

The package contained a car title, insurance card, necklace valued at $169, ring with diamond valued at $298, and tag registration.

• Lachara Brinson, 600 block Hillcrest Avenue, reported Monday that a male acquaintance kicked a 2001 Nissan Altima.


Colquitt  County Sheriff’s Office

• Ashley Miller, 700 block Fifth Avenue Southeast, reported Monday that personal information was used by someone to file a fraudulent income tax return.
