A Winter Storm Warning that was originally to expire at 1 p.m. today was extended until 7 p.m. earlier today, but different weather information sources offer different predictions of what today's going to be like.
First, the agreement. It's cold, and it's going to continue to be cold. Currently it's 30 degrees and the high will reach only 31 (according to the National Weather Service) or 34 (according to weather.com and AccuWeather). The low tonight will be 21, 26 or 23, according to those same sources.
Precipitation issues, though, are more up-in-the-air (no pun intended). The NWS says we have an 80 percent chance of a wintry mix of rain and snow, dropping to a 10 percent chance of snow and sleet tonight. Weather.com and AccuWeather say we have no chance of precipitation for at least the next 24 hours.
