MOULTRIE — One woman was injured during a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of South Main Street and First Avenue Southeast Tuesday night.

Billie Glover, of 711 Third Ave. S.E., was taken to Colquitt Regional Medical Center, where a hospital spokesperson said she was treated for her injuries and released Tuesday.

Glover was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix on First Avenue Southeast. As she entered the South Main Street intersection at 8:23 p.m. Tuesday, a Ford F-150, driven by Crawford Paulk of Funston also entered the intersection.

The two vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection, and the F-150 came to rest after rotating through almost half a circle.

Glover and Paulk and three witnesses all stated Paulk had a green light at the time of the collision. Glover was issued a citation for running a red light. Paulk was not charged and did not report any serious injuries.
