MOULTRIE — A Moultrie woman was injured in a Friday collision when her car was struck from behind at an intersection.
Ovval Faye Bozeman, 12th Avenue Southeast, and Janie Davis, Hillcrest Drive, were both heading south on 10th Street Southeast near the intersection of Seventh Avenue at about 1:43 p.m. when the accident occurred, Moultrie Police Department reports said.
Davis told police that her 2004 Toyota Camry was struck from behind by a 2008 Pontiac Torrent driven by Bozeman.
Bozeman told police that she struck the other car because she did not see any brake lights.
A test of Davis’ brake lights indicated that they were working properly, police said. Bozeman was cited for driving too close.
Davis was treated at Colquitt Regional Medical Center and released, a hospital spokeswoman said. A passenger in the Toyota, Khalia Davis, 4, and Bozeman were not injured.
