MOULTRIE -- A Moultrie woman reported being raped by an unknown male at her home early Saturday morning.
The woman reported the incident occurred between herself and another man she only knew by an alias while they were doing drugs at a residence on Fifth Avenue Northwest.
Reports said the woman was thrown onto a bed by the male after she was done using the drugs. The man started hitting and choking her when he had what was described as "performance problems," police reports said.
The woman told police at that point she quit resisting.
The woman complained of pain in her mouth where she had been struck, police reports said. She described the house where the incident happened to police, but the exact numerical address was unknown because it was not posted.
The woman was taken to Colquitt Regional Medical Center for further examination, police reports said. She described her attacker as a black male between 45 and 55, between 6' and 6'2", weighing between 235 and 245 lbs. with graying black hair in plats. He was known to the victim as "Lightning."
