Two Moultrie women were treated for injuries suffered in separate vehicle accidents on Thursday in Moultrie.

In the first accident, a 2002 GMC Yukon driven by Melissa Workman was struck from behind at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Fourth Avenue Northeast, Moultrie Police Department reports said.

The accident occurred at about 12:37 p.m. Gregory Tice of Donalsonville, driving a 2000 Chevrolet C3500, was uninjured, the reports said.

Workman was taken to Colquitt Regional Medical Center for treatment for neck pain.

In the second accident, a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria driven by Necey Hallman of Camilla was struck in the side by a 1999 Chevrolet Express driven by Karen Hall.

A witness behind Hall said that the light was green as they went through the intersection.

Hall also was transported to Colquitt Regional, police reports said.

Workman and Hall were treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Hallman and Tice were cited in the accidents, police reports said.
