MOULTRIE — A 13-year-old boy was charged after he allegedly forced his way into an apartment and allegedly tried to sexually assault the resident early Sunday morning.

The boy was charged with burglary and aggravated assault.

A woman reported a male knocked on her door on Eighth Avenue Northwest about 1:21 a.m. Sunday, supposedly to return a cup of hers that he had used during the night.
