Musicians from Colquitt County High School will be among those performing during “A Young Artists’ Showcase” at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at the Thomasville Center for the Arts.

The program, sponsored by Arts for the Community at Thomas University, will feature a wide range of musical styles. It is part of ACTU’s Sundays at Four series.

The event will feature three orchestras from the Rose City Strings Project at the Scholars Academy as well as instrumentalists and singers from Thomas County High School, Colquitt County High School and other schools throughout the region.

“We are so excited to provide a performance venue for the young artists in this region, and are happy to add the orchestras from the Rose City Strings Project to this year’s program,” said Karl Barton, series coordinator. “This celebration of talent is sure to be a real crowd pleaser.”

The concert is free and open to the public with a suggested donation of $5. A reception will follow the performance.
