Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church will have its “Early Morning Services” on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 7 p.m., instead of Sunday morning, Sept. 28.

The Missionary Baptist Association will convene at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Funston on Friday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 27, at 10 a.m.; and Sunday, Sept. 28, at 9:45 a.m.



American Legion Post #533 Meeting

The American Legion Post #533 will meet at the post home on Thursday, Sept. 25, at 7 p.m.



Pelham Jamboree

The Pelham Jamboree will be this Saturday, Sept. 27, with the doors open from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. On program will be Pelham’s Cotton Boll Express, Betty Stroud singing gospel, Lalla Lehman singing country, and Lee Johnson singing country. Wreath Sale

The Colquitt County High School Tempo club will begin selling wreaths on Friday, Sept. 26, through Thursday, Oct. 9. Please see a CCHS choir student to purchase a wreath or contact the Choral Department at CCHS.



Benefit Sing and Cake Auction

Emerald Hill Baptist Church will be hosting a benefit sing and cake auction to assist Gary Hughes with medical expenses. It will be Saturday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. The featured groups will be The Parish Family and Faithful Servants.



Croft Reunion

The Croft Reunion will be 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, at the Berlin Community Center.



Spence-Hawthorne Reunion

The Spence-Hawthorne Reunion will be Friday, Oct. 10, and Saturday, Oct. 11, at Hampton Inn. On Friday, dinner will be at Cedar River at 5:30 p.m. and on Saturday, dinner will be at Bentley’s at 5:30 p.m. For more information, call 985-3048.



Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall

The John Benning Chapter of the DAR and the Veteran’s Activities Committee is hosting a trip to Tifton to see the Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall on Saturday, Oct. 25. The trip is no charge and the bus will leave from the Moultrie-Colquitt Museum at 1:30 p.m. For more information, call the museum or Hoyt Holland.
