The Unique Ryders Motorcycle Club is having its 2nd Annual Valentine’s Bikers’ Ball on Saturday, Feb. 13, from 9 p.m. until, at the Worth County Ag Pavilion on Hwy. 313, past the Worth County High School. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Mary Alice Senior Citizens Center. Door prizes will be given away. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Tax Aide and Blood Pressure Check
AARP Tax Aide volunteers will be at the Moultrie-Colquitt County Library auditorium, 204 Fifth St. S.E., each Tuesday Feb. 2 through April 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. They will be available to help taxpayers with low and moderate incomes, with special attention to those 60 years and older. A list of documents needed when taxpayers come is posted at the library. For more information call 1-888-AARPNOW or visit online at www.aarp.org/taxaide. While taxpayers are visiting the library in February, they can have their blood pressures checked by nurses from Colquitt Regional Medical Center. The dates and times are Tuesday, Feb. 9, from 2 to 4 p.m., and Tuesday, Feb. 23, from 9 to 11 a.m.
Thursday Worship Service
Willow Grove Church is presenting a new worship service titled, “Evening Service of Praise!” It will be held on Thursdays at 7 p.m. Various ministers will preach weekly.
