C.A. Gray Junior High officials dealt with a fight on Friday morning, but there were no reports of any serious injuries, a Colquitt County Schools official said.
Assistant Superintendent Mickey Key said he spoke with the school's vice principal, who reported that there was a fight between students.
He suggested speaking with a principal at the school A voice message was left with the assistant principal.
"She told me a couple of teachers got some scrapes," Key said, and she mentioned nothing out of the ordinary in terms of a student fight.
Key said no one has mentioned a stabbing, which was a rumor apparently circulating in the community on Friday morning.
