For Aug. 7
"President Bush served in the military. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar. Let's take the argument of military service a step farther though and watch how the Democrats flip-flop on this issue in 2008.
"When Hillary Clinton gets the Democratic nod in '08, I bet the issue of her not having served in the military will be a non-issue for them then.
"In other words, don't put forth an argument that will come back to bite you later."
What Kerry did
"What Kerry did do on Sept. 11, 2001. Here's what he told Larry King: '... And as I came in [to a meeting in Sen. Daschle's office], Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid were standing there, and we watched the second plane come in to the building. And we shortly thereafter sat down at the table and then we just realized nobody could think, and then boom, right behind us, we saw the cloud of explosion at the Pentagon ...'
"Looking at the timeline of events, you will see that there are 45 minutes between the second plane hitting tower two and the plane that hit the Pentagon. So, by his own words, Sen. Kerry could not think for 40 minutes. Sound like someone you would want for Command-in-Chief?"
"To the ranter about the Confederate Reunion in Dalton, did you attend? Do you know what was said in Dalton?
"Just because someone belongs to the Sons of Confederate Veterans, you call them ignorant.
"Before you spout off your big bold statements, you should know the facts.
"Mabe you are the one who is ignorant!"
"In reference to 'coma:' Do some real math. Subtract the amount spent on creating the Homeland Security Department, war in Afghanistan and Iraq, and post 9/11 assistance and you will see that President Bush's budget is no larger than his predecessors. Would you rather he had not funded those expenditures and therefore hasten the attacks that will come from those that have declared war against us?"
Shame on you
"The wolves in sheeps' clothing today are the thieves in blue-suit clothing who tax and spend, put 'sales tax' on books, send 'foreign aid' to OPEC countries, and use taxpayer money for a 'national holocaust museum' (before the WWII memorial was built in honor of the hard-grit soldiers who, for Gods' sake, liberated the labor camps!), yet let our own veterans waste away on long waiting lists to get the medical help they need to stay alive!
"Shame on you, dishonest and self-serving 'politicians' -- who are not even 'American' anymore!"
It would be nice
"It would be nice to make a product, find out that the demand has gone down and then get the government to pay me to not make it anymore.
"What happens if everyone decides they don't like corn or cotton? Farming has gone to hell."
"It's not so much that Bush can't speak. He can't read that which has been prepared for him. What a doofus!"
