MOULTRIE -- The Colquitt County High baseball team's game with Lowndes on Tuesday was postponed by rain and will be made up at 6 tonight at Ike Aultman Field.

The Colquitt County High tennis team had a pair of home matches scheduled with Lincoln High on Tuesday that also were postponed.

Colquitt County girls coach Linda Berl said the matches have tentatively been rescheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday at the Jim Buck Goff Recreation Complex.

The boys and girls tennis teams also will play at 4 p.m. today at Lowndes in matches that were originally scheduled for March 22, but were postponed by a tornado warning.

The tennis teams have one other match before the April Region 1-AAAAA tournament at Abraham Baldwin College.

The Packers and Lady Packers will play host to Tift County at 4 p.m. Monday.

Those, too, are makeups of matches originally scheduled for March 31 that were rained out.

Moving the Colquitt County-Lowndes baseball game, which will determine first place in the region, forced the shuffling of several games.

The varsity Packers were scheduled to meet Lincoln High in Tallahassee today in a non-region contest. That game has been tentatively moved to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27 in Tallahassee.

The Colquitt County B-team's game against Tift County scheduled for 5:30 p.m. today also has been moved.

The Tift County-Valdosta game in Tifton also was postponed by rain and will be played at 6 p.m. today.

Coffee went to Houston County on Tuesday and dropped its third straight game, 13-3 in five innings.
