Farm Bureau got back up to .500 with a 13-12 Farm League victory over Zaxby’s on Thursday at the Magnolia Sports Complex.

Tajh Sanders, Slade Horne, Ryan Smith and Garrett Lenz each had three hits and Lance Giles, Jacob Walden and Travis Gibson each had two for Farm Bureau, now 4-4.

Logan Bratcher and Levi Stanfill each had three hits and Jeb Johnson, Omarian Daniels, Jacob Boyd, Garrett Morris and Jacob Harris each had two for Zaxby’s.

Davis Insurance pounded Ameris 20-10 in the other Farm League game.

Callon Kubiak, Max Parker, Oscar Bullard and Logan Livingston each had three hits and Duron Rushing, Kason Davis, Lane Bruce, Hunter Strikland and Kacey Croft each had two.

For Ameris, Tucker Pitts, Evan Taylor, Nate Creech, Bradley Smith, Noah Whitaker and Brett Tyson each had two hits.

In Midget League play, Mobley Plant and Hutchinson-Traylor battled for seven innings, but had to settle for a 7-7 tie.

Mobley scored three runs in the first and three more in the fourth and scored one run in the seventh.

Hutchinson-Traylor scored one in the first, another in the second on a home run by William Henry, another in the third and three more in the fifth on a McKenzie Powell home run.

Raines Plant scored a run to tie the game in the seventh on a passed ball.

Plant and Jared Horne pitched for Hutchinson-Traylor. Scott Knight and Gavin Patel threw for Mobley Plant.

Plant also had a home run and Tanner Wilson had two hits for Hutchinson-Traylor.

Patel had two hits and Mack Crosby had a home run for Mobley Plant.

In Thursday’s other Midget League game, Davis Insurance defeated Quality Employment 8-6.

Carson Asbell was the winning pitcher. Asbell, Tucker Buckner, Keontre Stubbs and Caden Maxwell each had a  hit for Davis Insurance, 4-3.

In Thursday’s Tiny Mite action, Hutson Motors defeated Snap Fitness 9-2 and Holman Supply edged Southwest Georgia Bank 9-8.
