MOULTRIE — Teeing off without No. 1 player Jaycee Eunice, who was sick, the Colquitt County High girls golf team shot a 114 on Monday at Grand Island in Albany, losing to Lee County, which shot an 85, and Tift County, which had a 79.

The Lady Packers top two scores were turned in by freshman Marin Hanna, who had a 54, and Audrey White, who shot a 60.

Also playing on Monday were Mallory Howren, who had a 62; Abi Bishop, who shot a 66; and Florence Balkcom, who had a 71.

The Lady Packers also played Tift County last Thursday at Sunset County Club and came up short against the Lady Devils.

Tift shot an 85. The Lady Packers had a 100.

Hanna played well in the cold and damp conditions, scoring a 45. Audrey White had a 55.

Eunice was ill, but played anyway and shot a 59. Howren had a 59; Bishop a 69; and Balkcom a 71.

The Lady Packers are scheduled to play in the Lady Red Terror Invitational at Jekyll Island on Saturday. Coach Heather Brown said Eunice, Hanna, Howren and White would be her four players.
