We're always interested in hearing about news in our community. Let us know what's going on!

MOULTRIE – Mike Simpson has every reason to be excited. So he never allows frowns on any of the faces that come to the Bridge Creek Clays shooting range.

MOULTRIE – When Sunset Country Club golf professional Bob Windom tees off today in this year’s Pot o’ Gold Pro-am, it will mark the sixth decade in which he has played in his club’s signature event.

MOULTRIE – As Colquitt County High’s tennis players look for dry surfaces after two days of heavy rainfall, what’s bigger on the minds of the Packers is the chance to clinch the No. 1 seed for the Region 1-7A playoffs. That’s not just one team, but both the boys and the girls. It’s today (Fr…

MOULTRIE – If Carlos Rey had any trouble with the chilly and blustery conditions at Ike Aultman Field and Jerry Croft Stadium on Saturday morning, it sure wasn’t apparent to the Colquitt County batters.

MOULTRIE – That Florida SouthWestern State’s Za’Nautica Downs has been named the Suncoast Conference Player of the Year has come as no surprise at all to her high school coach.

MOULTRIE – When the first possessions of the first and second half end with an 0-for-4 showing, it doesn’t bode well for offensive success on the basketball court.

MOULTRIE – Enrique Salgado’s end-to-end scoring push resulted in the go-ahead goal of a thrilling high school soccer match Tuesday between arguably the premier programs in South Georgia. Salgado’s point, with 2:18 remaining, broke a 2-2 tie and gave Colquitt County High a 3-2 victory over de…

MOULTRIE – The Packers can look back on several missed opportunities, and all the times Camden County took advantage of those missed Saturday on William Bryant Court. Too many free throws didn't go in, and some points were taken off the board due to offensive fouls.
