Ramsey Pidcock Invitational winners

MOULTRIE – Locked in a four-way tie for first place after Saturday’s first round of the Ramsey Pidcock Invitational at Sunset Country Club, Adam Cooper and Jared Garrity turned in a Sunday-best 65 for a 129 that earned the Columbus golfers a two-shot victory.

The twosome of Taylor Cooksey and Brock Young shot a 65-66 to finish second at 131.

Clay Cantlay and Jason Jones, one of the other three teams tied at 64 heading into the final round, shot 67 on Sunday and finished third.

Jonathan and Jared Bridges shot a 66 each day to finish fourth at 132.

The teams of Kevin Blanton and Andy Blanton and Bubba Bailey and Travis Lane also finished at 132, but their Sunday’s scores came up short of the 66 posted by the Bridges boys.

Mark Masey and Blake Clanton won the first flight, also by two shots, posting a 66-67 for a 133. Brad Eunice and Andy Scott shot 69-66 for a 135.

Von Stripling and Madison Turner also shot 135, but had to settle for third.

John McKenzie and Patrick Leatherwood carded a 71-68 for a 139 and third place.
