Colquitt 11th in Hardaway Invitational

The Colquitt County High golf team shot a 314-324 and finished 11th out of 18 teams in the Hardaway Invitational in Columbus last Friday and Saturday. The Packers were led by Chase Blanton, who shot 74-79 despite a sore back. Marshall McCranie shot his season low score each day with 80 and 77. David Strange, shown above, shot 78-81. ‘David Strange continues to impress as a freshman averaging second lowest on our team so far this season,’ said coach Andrew Eunice. Tucker Brown shot 82-87 and Tyler Key turned in an 87-90. Riverside Academy won the event with a 286-287. The Packers returned to Columbus on Tuesday to play in the Muscogee Invitational at Maple Ridge Golf Club.
