MOULTRIE — Harrell Auto Electric defeated Southern Concrete twice on Monday at the Jim Buck Goff Recreation Complex to win the Junior girls championship.

Southern Concrete needed to win just the first game to claim the title, but Kylie Davis pitched a complete game and struck out nine to lead Harrell Auto Electric to a 7-1 victory.

That forced a one-game playoff for the league championship.

And it was a good one.

The game was tied 4-4 after regulation and Harrell scored four runs in the top of the first extra inning.

Two straight Southern Concrete errors allowed Jade Horne to score the first Harrell run.

Gracie Long then doubled in two runs and later scored on a fielder’s choice.

Brooke Durrence scored a run for Southern Concrete in the bottom of the inning, but it was not enough.

Harrell Auto Electric won three of the five games played between the two teams this season.

In the Mite League, league champion Rocky’s finished undefeated after beating My T Fine Barbecue 11-1 in its final game.

Emily Allegood led Rocky’s at the plate, going 3-for-3, including two doubles and a triple, and scoring three runs.

Katlyn Powers had a pair of triples and scored two runs, Elle Perryman had a triple and scored two runs and Jessie Lamb scored twice for Rocky’s.

In the other Mite League game, TGGA defeated Custom Outdoors 8-6. Madison Plymel had a home run and a triple and scored two runs for TGGA.

Zaniya Green scored two runs for Custom Outdoors.

Sha Missions won the Tiny Mite girls championship and Hit Squad was the Junior Division champion.
