MOULTRIE — The Colquitt County junior varsity girls soccer team took advantage of a chance to play Valdosta again and managed a 3-3 tie.
The JV Lady Packers lost to Valdosta 4-0 last week and was blanked by Lee County 9-0 on Monday.
“We played much better than we did in our last game,” said coach Amanda Tate. “We made better passes and moved the ball up the field.”
The Lady Packers got goals from Lori Ann King on a first-half penalty kick and from Hannah Goodno to go up 2-0 three minutes into the second half.
Brittany Bautista got her first goal of the season with 14 minutes remaining.
